How to describe BPI
One line
Bitcoin Policy India (BPI) is an independent, Bitcoin-only policy think tank working to enable positive, rational, forward-looking regulation for Bitcoin in India.
One paragraph
Bitcoin Policy India (BPI) is an independent, Bitcoin-only effort in research, education, and policy — India-first, and informed by developments around the world. It makes the evidence-based case for clear, workable Bitcoin regulation: treating Bitcoin distinctly from the wider “crypto” category, rationalising its taxation, and grounding the rights to hold and self-custody. Founded by Kamal Gaur and Saqeer Shah, BPI is deliberately small, independent, and India-first.
Refer to us as “Bitcoin Policy India” (first mention) or “BPI” thereafter.
